Why adjustable support matters when the load changes
Loaded movement is rarely constant. Pack weight stays with you, but terrain, pace and fatigue continue to change. A support setup that feels right at the start may feel different after a climb, during a long descent or between stations.
Support is a setting, not a permanent answer
The useful question is not simply whether support is present. It is whether the wearer can make a clear, repeatable adjustment when the demand changes. WRAPTIS AIR is being developed around five physical pressure levels and three pneumatic zones so the decision remains visible and accessible on the product.
Fit first, then pressure
The textile wrap establishes the base fit. Pressure is the second layer: it lets the wearer tune the feel without repeatedly undoing the entire wrap. This separation also makes it easier to return to a known setting.
Where adjustment can be useful
- Before a loaded climb or long rucking interval
- When a descent changes the movement demand
- Between stations in hybrid training
- When moving from work to recovery periods
WRAPTIS products are not a substitute for medical assessment. Pain, instability or an injury should be discussed with a qualified healthcare professional.
